WebWatcher Program Blocking
The following screenshots show how WebWatcher blocks programs.
To see the screenshots more clearly, click on the images and a pop-up with the full sized version will appear (requires Javascript and pop-ups enabled in your browser).
 | WebWatcher's left menu allows you to select the 'Recording Options' submenu of 'Settings'. This is where you can configure how WebWatcher is used. |
You can then select which of the recording options you want to alter. For our example here you'd clicking on the 'Settings' link for 'Block Programs'.
|
The first thing you do is set up a schedule for when you want to block
certain programs. Your current schedule names appear in the left pane ( 1) and you set up new schedules by selecting days and times on the lower pane ( 2). The schedule data then appears in the right pane ( 3),
showing you the times on each day when that schedule runs. You can set
up as many schedules as you like or simply one schedule covering all
days and times.
|

Now that you have your schedule set up you can select it on the 'Block Programs By Time' screen (1). You can then add pre-selected programs from the list (2) or search for programs in the search box above the list. Programs you select will then appear in the right pane (3). These blocked programs will simply not be allowed to run on the computer during the scheduled times.
