The following screenshots show the WebWatcher Alert Words and Smart Camera features.

To see the screenshots more clearly, click on the images and a pop-up with the full sized version will appear (requires Javascript and pop-ups enabled in your browser).

Smart Camera Setup - Click To Enlarge.

The screen above demonstrates how to set up Smart Camera for a particular website. You can either select a webste from the categories in the resource list (1) or add any URL in the box at the top (4). You can set the interval for the snapshots and the duration you wish to take snapshots for in the boxes at the bottom (2). Your list of Smart Camera entries appears in the right pane (3). You can also set up Smart Camera to record on a per-program basis.

Alert Words Setup - Click To Enlarge.

This screen demonstrates how to set up Alert Words. You enter the word or phrase in the box at the bottom (1) and then you tell WebWatcher when you want it to look for that word or phrase and whether or not you want Smart Camera to take screenshots (2). Your list of Alert Words appears in the right pane (3).

Smart Camera Display - Click To Enlarge.

The above screenshot demonstrates Alert Words and Smart Camera in action together. I set up Alert Words to work on the word 'gambling'. When you display your list of screenshots you'll see the programs and alert words being tracked by Smart Camera in the list on the left (1). You can select dates from this list and see all instances where the Alert Word was detected in the right pane (2). Selecting one of those instances shows a picture of what was on the computer screen at the time the snapshot was taken (3) (in this case a gambling website). You can view successive snapshots in a slideshow if you wish (4).

What Makes My Reviews Different?

Virtually all software has bad points - nothing is perfect.

I don't sugar-coat my reviews like many do. You'll get both the good and the bad points from me.

Furthermore, I actually buy and use the software myself!

You'd be amazed at how many so-called 'honest reviewers' have never even tested the software they're reviewing.
